These metallic tokens were issued by various Government and Non-Government establishments like mills, mints, military, railways, banks, clubs, hotels, companies, factories, co-operatives, etc. for use in their own premises only. Here, as many as 295 canteen tokens including color illustrations of more than 260 tokens have been catalogued with details like the issuer, location, metal, weight, size, shape, value, descriptions of obverse and reverse, etc.
